Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

One of the perks of having aviation friends is...

You can just jet off for an airplane tour of Molokai on a regular Saturday morning. Recently Uncle Greg got his fixed wing pilot license!

Molokai is a very tiny Hawaiian island East of Oahu. It has a very small population and is famous for its old leprosy colony and steepest cliffs in the world. Needless to say it was a cool flight.

Yes our little lady came... She lives a very adventurous life for a toddler. She was perfectly safe; I was a little worried without a car seat but the regulations for this particular plane called for her to be sitting next to me! A perfect companion.

Thank you Uncle Greg for a great morning!!!

Busy June!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD, PAPA, and POPS! We are so lucky to have all of these wonderful fathers in our lives.

Well I have been really slacking in the blog world! H lady and I have been busy enjoying our Hawaii summer and we just have not had much spare time for blogging. With H almost two... (how can that even be!) she is a very busy bee.

Two weeks ago we started Toddler Space Camp at the Honolulu Children's Museum. Harper LOVES this class. I means loves, loves, loves it. I am so happy we signed up... And a space theme with a group of ten 24 month old is just hilarious.

The Army celebrated Kamehameha Day on Friday (Hawaiian Holiday!) by giving all the soldiers a day off from work. We were so excited. Will has been very busy at work so we welcomed this nice break. And I was so happy because Daddy could go in the pool for swimming lessons. H was thrilled. And I was thrilled to avoid the pool for a bit.

We have a busy couple of weeks ahead. I will do my best to keep up with the blog!! Until then..

Wordless Wednesday

Don't be surprised if you visit our house and see little people living among us. H lady spends about an hour a day rearranging and moving these figurines all around our house.... I usually find all them at clean up time, but these sneak ones were just too funny.

New Do- Pigtails!

Almost a year ago... I wrote about this new hairdo. Harps was finally wearing bows!

You are probably thinking, why even bother to blog about hair growth! H lady has been very slow in the hair growth process... Her first year of life she was pretty much bald. Everywhere I went her first year of life people would say.. what a sweet boy... and she was dressed head to toe in pink! But recently, our little lady has had a hair growth spurt! I cant finally put in little pony tails, pig tails, etc. I absolutely adore doing her hair. It is celebration worthy. The one downside is it definitely makes her look like a "big girl" and not a baby. They just grow up way too fast.

I bet you are thinking, what in the world is that thing around her neck? Harps and I made a "homemade paper towel" necklace. I initially thought what a great activity for a summer afternoon. Ha. She loves this paper towel necklace and has been consistently sporting it ever sense! I'll blog more about this super easy project tomorrow!

Hope everyone had a wonderful relaxing weekend!
