Liam's Nursery

First and foremost- living in Army housing is an amazing privilege but has its' challenges. I would love to paint both kids rooms (ha well everywhere), add crown molding, change light fixtures, etc but that is not an option. I am sure any renter can relate. I am sure one day I will have all of those options, if and when we own a home, but for now we did the best we could!

Liam's nursery was originally our guest bedroom/Will's office. We rearranged furniture and Harp's upgraded to a Queen Bed. We plan on getting her bunkbeds back on the mainland, but for now we had to make our very limited space work. We are officially growing out of our house. We moved the day bed into Liam's room and I bet it will be a great place to sleep when Will needs a full night of sleep for flying!

(His theme was more inspired by colors at fabric stores!
Thanks Gigi for helping us pick them out in Charleston!)

(not the front one- but the bicycle ones I sewed)

(isn't this blanket adorable- Aunt Bobo made it for Liam!! We adore it!)

(for the bumper I actually found fabric and my amazing, talent friend sewed it!)

and since I took these at night- here is a picture of the valance I had made. Gigi (Will's mom) helped us coordinate with a lady in Charleston who was able to sew it. I think it is adorable and will transfer to other rooms wonderfully as we move around the country/world (?!).

and since I had a jealous sister- here are some pics of her "Big Girl" room.

and just a sweet picture of the day..

(our Elephant lover girl, hugging an Elephant holding her "phante").

Insta Update

We have been busy ( or trying to keep busy). Ha if that makes any sense! Baby Liam is officially full term, and although this pregnancy has flown by, the last couple weeks sorta drag. I think every full term pregnancy woman can relate to this. We are just patiently waiting for him to decide when he wants to arrive!  In the mean time, I am enjoying every last minute alone with our Little Harp Girl.

Beach Days... (ps. aren't those glasses so silly- she loves them!)

Will is flying the first Chinook on the Big Island.

Park Dates Galore...

Harps and I walk (use to run!) a two mile loop at least once a day in our neighborhood (walk this baby out!) and part of our loop backs up to a ranch. All of the cows just had babies.
So adorable and tiny.

And please let everyone know.. The Caff house is a Monster Free Zone. Since we made this sign we have had no Monsters in Harp's bed. Thank goodness. Spread the word.

xoxo,
allie

P.S. I finished sewing for Liam's nursery today ! I'll post pictures tomorrow!
