(truly I need to do some more updates! we have had some fun days in January... but also some low key days!! It is the rainy season here so lots of indoor play time and haha I am 32 weeks pregnant so just totting around this large belly and a tot Harps make life a bit slower!)
Anyway, today I was busy doing some deep cleaning (nesting much?) and I stumbled upon this...
This picture is of my husband and I (almost) nine years ago at Junior Prom in High School! So much has changed and yet so little... all in one. I do bet, those two 17 year old, could have never predicted 9 years later they would be living in Hawaii with a beautiful sassy two year old (and a sweet baby boy on the way) and with Will flying Chinooks in the Army (and Allie loving life as a stay home army wife) I am SO grateful for everything we have experienced and can't wait to see what happens in another 9 years!

Sibling Class
Yesterday evening Harps and I were lucky enough to participate in a "Sibling Class" at our hospital! We are delivering baby Liam at a military hospital on the island and they offer tons of classes! Since this is our second time around, we are skipping over most of them, but couldn't resist the sibling class. It was totally worth it! H loved every moment of it and I think it was the perfect preview of what is to come in her future. She learned how to change a baby's diaper, feed, burp, and gently play with them.. (haha now granted our 2 year old won't be doing any of these for Liam) but she can still "help".
Our girl with her "Sibling Certificate!"
Also- I have been seriously loving Mexican food this whole pregnancy. I have been making all different types of enchiladas, tacos, salsa- you name it! If you have any amazing different recipes, send them my way! Anyway, this recipe is seriously a winner-

Honolulu Aquarium
This weekend we decided to explore the Honolulu Aquarium! We are trying to squeeze in some last minute fun toddler trips before baby WJC joins us in March! Overall H loved the whole experience and I would totally recommend the aquarium to parents with little kids. It was adorable but tiny tiny. The whole "experience" took about 45 minutes and we were really watching the fish and seals! A perfect morning for a tot!

The Perfect Lime Pound Cake
I don't normally post recipes on here... haha in fact never but I think I am going to start posting a couple of winners.
My husband lovesss pound cake and he lovesss anything lemon, lime, key lime, etc. On our street we have a lime tree that has been dropping limes like crazy. What a perfect excuse to make a whole assortment of Citrus Desserts. I love a very dense, buttery pound cake and the citrus flavoring adds the perfect extra twist.
Southern Living Pound Cake
2. Add in the butter... and then the eggs one at a time. Then lime juice!
3. Bake at 300 F for about an hour! Or Golden Brown outside.
For the glaze I just juiced 3 limes and mixed in 4 cups of powdered sugar. Easy peasy.
I prefer using a Bundt pan but a loaf would be great too!

These are a few of our favorite things....
Right now our house is loving...
I am loving tan nail polish right now.
I know, it seems odd to wear a skin toned nail polish but try it!
You won't regret it.
and....
Pinkalicious!
My sister and mom gave Harps Pinkalicious, Purpalicious, Silveralicious, and Goldaliscious for Christmas and we have read all of them each day since!
We are loving some licious in this house.
and we are also loving...
that Downton Abbey is airing this Sunday in the US! It is one of my favorite shows.
and...
the pool in January!

allie
